Fairing

Longboard by hand until the reflection runs straight — the step that cannot be bought back later.

Primer schedules

Built to the manufacturer's system, with dry film thickness read and logged as it goes on.

Topcoat

Awlgrip, Alexseal and equivalents sprayed in a tented, filtered environment.

Condition logging

Substrate temperature, humidity and dew point recorded hourly. Half of all coating failures are a weather record.
